This is a commission piece I made for Frank Yang. He is known for blending awakening, aesthetics, and athletics - offering insights and realisations into true nature, along with practices for accessing the highest states of consciousness.

Kundalini is a byproduct of the breakdown of the separate self. It’s the body-mind’s physical reaction to the dissolution of ego and old conditioning. The energetic movements and sensations, often around the third eye, are side effects, not the realisation itself.

A Kundalini awakening, or spiritual high, is often followed by a deep spiritual low. These are two sides of the same clearing process, cycling back and forth until every layer of separation dissolves and the natural state stabilises.

Once realisation is complete, kundalini energy leaves the body. True awakening leaves no trace. The energy merges into the universal field — the pure awareness of being.

Concepts like energy, chakras, and vibrations are empty in themselves. Once clearly seen, they are simply tools within the dream. What remains is something far more simple, direct, and complete.
